Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information AYUVA collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Please note: This document is a working draft prepared for review. It must be reviewed and approved by qualified legal counsel before publication. AYUVA makes no certification or regulatory compliance claim — including HIPAA compliance — unless and until such a claim has been independently verified and stated explicitly here.

Last updated: This draft has not yet been dated for publication.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, information generated as you use the platform, and limited technical information from your device. The categories below describe this in more detail.

2. Account Information

Name, email address, phone number, and any profile details you choose to add, including relationships you set up for family or caregiver access.

3. Healthcare-Related Information

Information you choose to enter or upload for navigation purposes — such as appointments, questions, notes, documents, and reminders. AYUVA uses this information to help you organize and prepare. AYUVA does not diagnose and does not provide clinical care.

4. Device Information

Device type, operating system, browser, approximate region, and diagnostic or crash information used to keep the service reliable and secure.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, preferences, and aggregate analytics. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are used only with your consent, and you can change your choice at any time.

6. How We Use Information

To provide and improve the platform, personalize guidance and reminders, respond to enquiries, maintain security and prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

7. Data Sharing

AYUVA's policy is not to sell personal information. We share information only with people you authorize (such as a caregiver you invite), with service providers acting on our instructions, where required by law, or in connection with a corporate transaction, subject to equivalent protections.

8. Service Providers

We work with vendors for hosting, storage, analytics, communications, and AI processing. They are permitted to use information only to provide services to AYUVA, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim absolute security.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and afterwards only as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion as described below.

11. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict use of your information, and to withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact founders.ayuva@gmail.com. We will respond in line with applicable law.

12. Children's Privacy

AYUVA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Where a parent or guardian manages care for a minor through a family account, that adult is responsible for the information they provide.

13. International Considerations

AYUVA is designed primarily for users in the United Kingdom. If information is processed in another country, we take steps intended to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email, and the effective date above will be updated.

15. Contact

Questions about privacy can be sent to founders.ayuva@gmail.com or by phone on +44 7760770265.
